This document establishes the principles for carbon footprint accounting of household refrigerators and specifies requirements for accounting units, system boundaries, data collection and processing, accounting, uncertainty assessment, interpretation, and reporting. This document is applicable to the carbon footprint accounting of electric motor-driven compression-type household refrigerators (including those with a capacity of 500L or more), wine storage cabinets, and embedded refrigeration appliances.
