GB/T 47102-2026

This document specifies the purpose of carbon footprint quantification of rare earth permanent magnet materials, quantification scope, inventory analysis, impact evaluation, interpretation of results, and product carbon footprint report. This document is applicable to the quantification of carbon footprint of rare earth permanent magnet materials. The results can be used as a reference for different applications such as product carbon footprint performance evaluation, product carbon footprint information disclosure, and environmental protection information disclosure. It is applicable to a single environmental impact type, namely climate change.

Note: Carbon offsets are not included in the quantification of the product's carbon footprint.

This document does not apply to the evaluation of other potential environmental impacts arising from the product lifecycle, nor to the evaluation of possible social and economic impacts within the product lifecycle.
