This document specifies the normative references, terms and definitions, principles, functional units, system boundaries, allocation rules, data collection and quality requirements, data allocation and calculation, product carbon footprint assessment report, quality assurance and document retention, and product carbon footprint information disclosure for the assessment of carbon footprint of used lithium-ion battery products. This document applies to used lithium-ion battery products with multiple life cycles. Used nickel-metal hydride battery products and other types of used battery products can refer to this document for implementation.
