Abstract
This document specifies requirements for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and improve a carbon management system, enabling them to address non-conformities in carbon management related to their activities through prevention, removal, substitution, or reduction of carbon emissions, as well as voluntary carbon reduction measures. It aims to enhance the organization's carbon management capability and performance.
This document is applicable to any organization, regardless of its nature, type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture, or the products and services it provides. It is also applicable to organizations implementing controls or exerting influence on carbon sources based on the lifecycle concept to achieve the expected outcomes of the carbon management system. This document does not specify specific carbon performance criteria.
This document can be used entirely or partially for systematic improvement of carbon management. However, an organization can claim conformity to this document only if all its requirements are included in the organization's carbon management system and fully met.
