This document provides guidance on quantifying greenhouse gas emissions reductions associated with citizens' use of subway transportation. It includes principles, assessment scope and procedures, assessment content, and guidance on data quality management. This document is applicable to both individual citizens and subway operating companies conducting greenhouse gas emissions quantification assessments for subway travel. Other forms of rail transportation can also refer to and utilize the guidelines outlined in this document.
