Carbon Newture and BSI Sign Strategic Partnership to Build a Trusted Low-Carbon Services Ecosystem
On June 10, during the 2026 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo, Carbon Newture and the British Standards Institution (BSI) officially entered into a strategic partnership for green and low-carbon development. Through the combination of internationally recognized standards and certification expertise with digital carbon management technologies, the two parties will jointly build a trusted low-carbon service ecosystem, helping businesses enhance carbon management capabilities and sustainability performance while supporting industries in their transition toward a greener future.

The signing ceremony was attended by Guodong Song, Chief Operating Officer of BSI Greater China, and Arthur Huang, CEO of Carbon Newture.
The British Standards Institution (BSI) is the United Kingdom’s National Standards Body and one of the world's leading organizations in standards development and certification services. As the UK's representative to international and European standards organizations including ISO, IEC, CEN, and CENELEC, BSI has long been involved in the development of standards related to green and low-carbon development, greenhouse gas management, and sustainability. Key standards that BSI has led or helped advance include PAS 2050, PAS 2060, PAS 2080, and ISO 14068-1, the international carbon neutrality standard developed based on the principles of PAS 2060.
As the global green transition accelerates, the scope and significance of corporate carbon management continue to expand. Standardization and certification bodies such as BSI, together with digital carbon management platforms such as Carbon Newture, play complementary and indispensable roles in supporting enterprises' sustainability journeys. Robust standards and authoritative certification provide essential assurance for meeting green requirements, strengthening credibility, and building trust across markets and supply chains. Meanwhile, digital carbon management platforms serve as critical infrastructure for carbon data governance, emissions reduction implementation, and sustainable operations.
This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in combining BSI's standards and certification expertise with Carbon Newture's digital carbon management capabilities to empower enterprise decarbonization.
