This document specifies the definition of alpine grassland, the determination of carbon pools in the accounting of carbon reserves in alpine grasslands, the basic principles of plot establishment, and the methods and content of vegetation and soil carbon reserve accounting, as well as carbon sink accounting. This document is applicable to the accounting of vegetation, soil carbon reserves, and carbon sinks in alpine grasslands.
