Abstract

This document specifies the material carbon footprint as the amount (mass) of CO₂e removed from the atmosphere and fixed in polymer molecules, and defines the method for its quantification.

This document is applicable to plastic products, plastic materials, and polymer resins made entirely or partially from bio-based materials.
