GB/T 45540-2025

This document specifies the scope, objectives, boundaries, inventory analysis, impact assessment, interpretation of results, and partial carbon footprint reporting requirements for the quantification of chemical fiber products.

This document is applicable to the quantification and reporting of partial carbon footprints of chemical fiber products such as polyester, nylon, viscose fiber, spandex, acrylic, polypropylene, vinylon, and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber.

This document does not apply to recycled chemical fibers such as recycled polyester, recycled nylon, or recycled vinylon. Carbon offsetting and communication of partial carbon footprint information are outside the scope of this document.
